History


Sony Ericsson was established on 1 October 2001 by Sony Corp. and Ericsson. Sony Ericsson is headquartered in London, England. In 2009 Sony Ericsson became the fourth-largest mobile phone maker in the world. Since then, the gait Sony Ericsson has always been the attention of the gadget maniac.

Founder


Ericsson is one of the largest companies in Sweden. The company was founded by Lars Magnus Ericsson in 1876. In the early 20th century, Ericsson dominates the world market with manual telephone exchange products. Since then, Ericsson continues to grow until now they are known in almost 150 countries.

Sony Corp. is a company that focuses on the production of electronic equipment. Sony Corp. was established on 7 May 1946 in Tokyo by 2 people, Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita. Every year, Sony Corp. continues to develop into a company with quality products. Until now, Sony products have been enjoyed by all consumers around the world.

Bert was born in Malmo, Sweden in 1956. He earned his Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering and Engineering in the Swedish Marines from Berga. Rikko was born in Kitakyushu, Japan in 1963. He was appointed as EVP of Sony Ericsson since 2009.

3. Kristian Tear, Executive Vice President of Sony Ericsson
Kristian was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1963. He earned a master’s degree in science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 1988. He joined Ericsson since 1988, and worked at Sony Ericsson since 2005.

In 2006, Sony Ericsson gain in net income amounted to € 997 million. In 2007, the revenues increased to € 1.1 billion. In 2008, Sony Ericsson suffered a loss of € 73 million. Sony Ericsson is getting worse with losses in 2009 reached € 836 million.
