Dell Inc. formed in 1984 under the name of PCs Ltd. by Michael Dell while he was a student at the University of Texas, Austin. In 1985, Dell produced the first PC that is named Turbo PC. In 1988, the name of PCs Ltd. changed into Dell Inc. and begins the expansion of its business globally. In 1992, Dell Inc. enter a list of 500 leading companies in the world by Fortune magazine (commonly known as the Fortune 500).
