My question… What cell phones have chat style text messaging?
Example:
Me: Hey!
You: Whats Up?
Me: Not Much…You?
like the palm centro… but i dont like palm phones, except the palm pre. But i have AT&T
or a website that allows you to download an application like this …

I think the LG KS360 does and for something a little bit more expensive the Samsung Omnia.

The G1 has this. All text messaging is laid out like what you mentioned in your example. It does have applications on the phone. Tons!! You can use it on AT&T, just make sure it is unlocked though.
